Dip. Remedial Massage
Dip. Transpersonal Art Therapy
Cert.IV:Training and Assessment
Stephen is a teacher, musician, composer, transpersonal art therapist and wholistic practioner. In his present work as a body, mind and spirit therapist he seeks to use Jungian archetypal psychology. His postgraduate studies lead him to explore the problems and promise of religious inculturation for Australian Aboriginal people. As a doctoral candidate he has been able to explore the connection between Jung's personal experience of, and development of, archetypal theory and human religious experience. He has worked in the United States with people suffering from addictions, specialising in the issue of co-dependency. Stephen has had extensive experience in organisational work management and
the development of human resource programs for training volunteers in non-profit organisations.
Since 2000, Stephen has taught various courses related to mythology, the Enneagram, the Mandala as a Healing Tool, and archetypal psychology in the ‘Centre for Continuing Education' at the Sydney University. Currently, Stephen is in private practice as a body therapist and personal growth consultant and seeks to help others discover and care for their soul life. Since 2005 he has taught and tutored in the Transpersonal Counselling and Art Therapy courses for the IKON International Institute at the College of Complementary Medicine. His exploration of transpersonal art therapy, spirituality, the archetypes and the healing power of the Mandala will hopefully, in the future, come together in doctoral studies.
