What is it?
The Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Holistic Kinesiology (21769VIC) focuses on
expanding and enhancing clinical expertise, making graduates more effective practitioners.
The program addresses western and eastern approaches to common conditions as well as
clinical practice issues.
Course Structure
The Advanced Diploma is presented as modules which are taught two days a week over
one year, allowing students to study and work in clinic simultaneously. This includes
practice assessment days where students discuss case studies from their own clinical
experience. Students find their clinic expands rapidly as they deepen their knowledge
of key clinical conditions and develop their professional expertise and research skills.
Prerequisites
In order to enrol in the Advanced Diploma, one of the prerequisite courses must have been
completed:
- Diploma of Mind Body Medicine
- Diploma of Kinesiology (HLT51507)
- Diploma of Health Sciences in Holistic Kinesiology (21182VIC)
- Diploma of Health Sciences (Holistic Kinesiology) (21183VIC)
Bachelor of Health Sciences in Complementary Medicine
The Advanced Diploma in Holistic Kinesiology enables graduates to gain credit towards the
Bachelor Degree of Health Sciences in Complementary Medicine, majoring in Holistic
Kinesiology offered by Charles Sturt University.
You must have successfully completed the Diploma of Kinesiology (HLT51507) and either
be enrolled in or have completed the Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Holistic
Kinesiology (21769VIC) to be eligible to commence the Degree. For more information,
