SUBJECTS:
In this subject students learn the fundamental basis of kinesiology and it begins the journey of how we can help others to heal themselves. This subject looks at:
- the art of muscle monitoring
- the strong connections between muscles, channels (meridians) and our body organs;
- ways of stimulating Neuro-lymphatics and Neurovascular systems;
- Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) concepts of Yin and Yang, TCM 5 element theory, Yuan points; Mu points and their connections to organs.
Introduction to Mind Body Medicine:
Students learn to apply client centred counselling and the fundamentals of good communication in this subject. They also learn key counselling techniques for helping people better connect to and understand themselves: such as using focusing, felt sense, and imagery as part of a counselling session. This is a foundation subject for the kinesiologist and mind body medicine practitioner.
Energetic Medicine:
This subject applies energetic medicine to improving clients health and wellbeing. Based on traditional and modern insights, it includes working on the body hologram, addressing specific attitudes, thoughts and feelings as a way of dissolving stress patterns. Three types of flower essences are used including Australia bush, Arizona dessert and Dr Bach essences. Students learn to apply aromatherapy oils, crystals. colour and sound therapies. This includes using tools to work with auric bodies and chakras.

How to Enrol
There is a limit of 22 students per class and places are assigned on a first come first serve basis. We encourage those who are interested in studying to complete the Application for Enrolment process as soon as they can to avoid disappointment.
Application for Enrolment process requires submission of:
- the relevant forms in the enrolment pack
- a copy of your high school certificate results or subsequent study so that we can make sure you meet the academic criteria for enrolment outlined in the prospectus, also
- if you wish to apply for Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) you will need to fill in the Application for Recognised Prior Learning form which is in the Enrolment Application Pack. Applications for RPL will not be processed once the course has commenced.
- if you have a learning or physical disability you will need to fill out the Long Term Medical Condition or Disability information sheet which is in the Enrolment Information Pack.
